Well it happened...our baby turned 3! Wow such a big boy where did those three years go? We had a wonderful celebration with our Mom and Tot friends...and some Dads came too! The party was held at the Melfort Wave Pool and wow what a fun place! We had the entire pool/slide to ourselves for one hour and then the party area where we had some yummy food for another hour. Afterwards a few families stayed to swim some more. It was sure nice having the party out of the house so someone else could worry about the mess. It was also equally wonderful that it was a family party ...I think the kids had fun and so did the parents. It was an Elmo-extravaganza as Mason seems to be an Elmo Freak these days. We were able to buy Elmo themed gifts, cakes and party favors. One of my favorite parts of the day was when he saw his cake ... He said clear as a bell " My ELMO" and stuck his fingers into the cake and started licking the icing. I am so grateful that all the families made it through our first huge snow storm to attend the party. I mean it was huge, if you didn't have four wheel drive it was a challenge just getting out of Birch Hills. So I thank each one of you for making his day extra special.
EEEEK! Not sure what is happening...well I guess I do the baby is growing and moving! I guess I can say the same for myself! Over the weekend this whole pregnancy thing is really starting to feel real! The most fabulous feeling in the world! Although changing positions in bed is turning into quite the Olympic sport, trying not to get a cramp or bounce Jordie right out of bed!
