Mason's First Day!

So yesterday was a big day in our house. Mumma's first day back to work after being off for 14 months and my baby (ok so he isn't a baby..he is still my baby! lol) goes to Tiny Tot for the first time. I think I cried everyday this week leading up to this morning but when morning came all seemed to be o.k. I was a little nervous for him as he is a sleeperiner! We don't usually hear from him till 8:30 and now he had to get up at 7. In preparation for the day I was up at 6 and had my shower and got ready prior to getting him up. When I went in the room he greeted me with the biggest smile and said "Hellllloooo..... Mumma" oh what a beautiful smiley face to see first thing in the morning. Good thing one of us is a happy morning person. So I promptly got him up and dressed and ready to hit the road to town. Cheerios and apple juice in hand! Jordie got James ready and he seemed excited to have his brother come to school with him. Once they were off I was able to hit the road as well (boy do I love living only a few blocks from work) today was going to be a busy day. Being that today was Thursday it was breakfast club at work so I had to be at work for 7:30 instead of 8. It turned out to be a fabulous day and part way through the morning I got a text from Virginia one of the day care workers and this is what it said "Hi there! Your cutie Mason stole my heart! He gave me a wave hi with a big smile and a hug. awww what a gentlemen lol" Oh how I was so happy to get this message. That meant my little boy was having a good day. So I wrote back thanking her for the message and she replied with " I knew it would brighten your day and make a smile knowing he was having a good first day! " Virginia you have no idea what that did for me. I relaxed the rest of the day. I know he is in good hands but he is my baby after all and I worry. At the end of the day when I saw him he greeted me with big smiles and Mumma Mumma Mumma ....made my heart melt all over again!
